Rangifer


Rangifer est un genre monotypique appartenant à la famille des cervidés. Son unique représentant est le renne (Rangifer tarandus) également appelé Caribou. Le genre Rangifer fut décrit, en 1827, par le naturaliste britannique Charles Hamilton Smith.
